International, Inc.

is a not-for-profit organization whose vision is to improve the lives and conditions of our youths. We will accomplish this mission as we support, enhance and improve the conditions of children in inner city communities.  These are children considered to be at risk for crime, drugs, juvenile delinquency, academic failure, teen pregnancy and lifetimes of failure, poverty and stigmatization. Care giving family members will also be included to help build the family structure and enhance the quality of life for the entire family unit.  The program is targeted and will work for any disadvantaged group, in inner city communities anywhere.

 

  

IMPLEMENTATION:
The program identifies and targets youths in high visibility inner city communities. Elementary and middle school children ranging in age 7-14 will be the ideal group. However, those served by the program will continue through the high school years.
 
COMPONENTS OF THE TRANSFORMING PROGRAM

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT:

PURPOSE: TO DEVELOP AUTONOMOUS KIDS
Areas of concentration:
Self Esteem Building, Career Choices, Goal Setting & Achievement
Success Building Strategies, Peer Relations
 

YOUTH MENTORING:
Model, and enforce positive images and behaviors to build healthy, productive lives.

TARGET AREAS:
Academic performance and improvement; Career exposure, Social interaction dynamics and Cultural Diversity. & Sensitivity.
 
TRAUMA RESOLUTION
Trained Clinicians will work with children to help them resolve the traumas that impede their growth and stifle their development and progress.
 
ADULT PROGRAM
Service is offered to families on an “as needed” basis...
Group training will be offered as the program develops.
Areas of focus will include Family structure and Empowerment; Nutrition, Health & Wellness, Ethnicity and Diseases.
 

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Become an Individual or Corporate Transformer

  • Sponsor a child or family in need of service
  • Individual counseling/support sessions or Trauma Resolution sessions for a child
    Sponsor workshops for groups of children
  • Workshops are 2-3 hours of intensive interactive training covering specific topics, aimed at modifying behaviors and improve motivation, attitude and success.
  • Become a Corporate or Individual Mentor

Expose kids to career opportunities as well as Cultural/Social functioning.
